A Big Decision

We have been so busy over the past couple of days. Where do I even begin???

Brayden never really got sick. He had his one massive puke but nothing after that and just a kind of whiny, stay in his pj's kind of day. I am so glad it wasn't another stomach bug...that is just no fun, especially the whole passing it to everyone we know thing. Sucks for us and sucks for everyone who knows us!

Over the past couple days, we have decided that we will most likely (95% sure) put the house on the market...YIKES! I know that it is not a seller's market right now but it is definitely a buyer's market and we could really get into a great house right now. We feel like if we miss this opportunity that we may never get as much of a house for this great a price so we are throwing ourselves out there and we will see if it really happens. We are not daring enough to buy first and worry about selling later. We will put the house up and if someone puts in an offer than we will see if there is anything out there that we want.

It just feels like such a big step and it also makes me kind of sad. I mean, Ben and I bought this house about a month before we got married. I feel like we grew up in this house and we definitely grew our family here! It would make me sad to leave the kiddos rooms behind but I know that it would be great to have more of a yard and more of a house. We will see what happens.

We have been working on touching up the little things in the house that will make it look better to potential buyers. We painted the shutters and front porch this weekend and will be getting the carpets cleaned next week. If you have any other advice for us, please share your wisdom. When we bought our house, we did have anything to sell so this is uncharted territory for us...and if you know me, you know that I hate the unknown!
