This Kitchen Will Be the End of Me!

Santa was so nice and brought Brayden the play kitchen that he has been dreaming off. Brayden has loved playing kitchen for what seems like ever but Ben wouldn't hear of any kitchen purchases until we had a daughter...very stupid, I know.

I was so excited for Brayden to have his kitchen and he does love it but....I HATE it!!! It is a messy disaster and my Type A personality is having a hard time just leaving the mess for clean up at the end of the day so I end up cleaning the kitchen up five times a day and as soon I clean it up, Brayden wrecks it again. Why must every piece of food be on the floor? Brayden just is not happy unless every single thing is cleared off the kitchen and on the floor. I hope he grows out of this stage because if not, I think I will lose my mind!

Here are some before and after pics so you know what I am talking about!

That is an amazing kitchen. Can I have one like that? I would probably do the same thing! LOL!

I used to have the same problem! Then we bought a play grocery cart and they loved it! Even though the "food" was still everywhere, it was easy clean-up for them to just throw it back into the cart. I was still sick of it and now our kitchen and groceries are in the garage where we are hoping they forget about it....but so far they have all still asked to play with it. A good investment anyway, since it was purchased when Nicole turned 2!

I can totally relate although I do not have a kitchen...just lots of cars, trucks, tools, and monster trucks! It won't be long before we get a kitchen too w/Anna...so you'll have to let me know when you think of a solution :-)

Emma and Teddy received the same kitchen for Christmas, and my house looks the same as yours with the kitchen stuff everywhere! Good Luck! I know how you feel!

Oh jeez. So wait, you're now having to clean two kitchens? Yikes.

Yup, Chachi had one too. And the mess? It was there also.

One day, it just disappeared. Never knew what happened to it:)

He he....It's mean, but whats worse. No kitchen or a constant uptight Mommy.
